Illinois Governor Releases Phase IV Guidelines for Businesses & Industries

This morning, Governor Pritzker released the Phase 4 guidelines that will take effect on Friday, June 26. The IMA has been working with the Governor’s Administration and the Chicago Mayor’s Office during the past few weeks to ensure that the manufacturing sector is represented in these reopening discussions.

All manufacturing was permitted to operate under Phase 3 which began May 29, so the new guidelines do not make significant changes for the manufacturing sector with the exception of allowing gatherings of up to 50 people following social distancing rules.
