Narrower ag labor legislation addressing the H-2A guest worker visa program is set to be introduced by Rep. Ted Yoho (R-Fla.), containing more-stringent provisions than the Farm Workforce Modernization Act (FWMA) passed by the House last year.
MWFPA will review this legislation when it becomes available. It has supported past efforts to reform the H-2A program which is expensive, flawed, and plagued with red tape.
