World Food Day is Wednesday, Oct. 16 and celebrates the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in 1945. For food manufactures it is an opportunity to raise awareness of hunger. This year Kellogg’s, Del Monte and Hormel Foods are hosting an online food drive in collaboration with Amazon.
